The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in medication administration or clinical documentation, and should be certified as a Medication Aide or Technician. Responsibilities

Administer and document prescribed medication to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
Record and update patient medical records with accurate information on medications and clinical documentation.
Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff, including but not limited to, taking vital signs, performing BLS as needed, and assisting with daily living activities.
Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members to ensure the provision of high-quality care.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Medication Aide or Technician.
Valid certification as a Medication Aide/Tech from a recognized certifying body.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Certification.
Ability to read, understand, and follow medication orders and safety protocols.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate clinical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team in a healthcare setting.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, and long periods of standing or walking.
Basic computer literacy to enter and retrieve data from electronic health records systems.

Bonus Points

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
Additional certifications related to healthcare or patient care are a plus.
Bilingual abilities are highly valued.
